OPPPORTUNITY KNOCKS #79

This is more of an announcement. It gives me great pleasure to announce that a Troop 26 scout has been elected Chapter Chief of the Eagle Chapter of the Ta Tsu Hwa Order of the Arrow. Congratulations to Eagle Scout Zach Vetal, former Troop 26 SPL, who was elected last night at the October Eagle Chapter meeting. Joining him on the Chapter level are Troop 26 members Eagle Scout Gary Fennema as Chapter Vice Chief and Life Scout Casey Keilbarth as Chapter Secretary. Not since the 70's when Troop 26 Scouts Duncan Cox, Rich Wennecker, and Bill Kirwin, led Indian Chiefs Chapter, have all three Chapter offices been held by Troop 26 members.

Twenty-three Troop 26 members attended the Chapter Meeting and participated in the election process.

We now have to share these three outstanding Troop 26 scouts with our sister troops in the Eagle District. They came from Troop 26 but now they belong to all Eagle District troops. We thank them for their dedication to the Order and we all wish them the very best of luck as they strive to provide a program for all Arrowmen in the Eagle District.
